Seasoned Black Bean Dip & Southwestern Pizza

Ingredients
500 ml black beans (can, drained and rinsed)
 
1/3 cup prepared tomato salsa (hot or mild)
 
2 tbsp cilantro leaves (fresh, chopped)
 
1 tbsp lime juice (fresh)
 
1 tsp Windsor® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
 
1/4 tsp ground cumin
 

 

Preparation
  1. Mash the black beans with a fork until smooth purée forms.
  2. Combine with remaining ingredients until smooth.
  3. Use as a dip with tortilla chips. Or use for Southwestern Pizza (see below).
Southwestern Pizza
  1. To prepare Southwestern Pizza, spread Seasoned Black Bean Dip over large flour or corn tortilla.
  2. Top with shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
  3. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and pizza is hot.

Servings: 1 cup
