German-Style Cured Pork Chops (Gepockelte)

Ingredients

Preperation
  1. Rub Tender Quick mix thoroughly into pork chops.
  2. Place meat in plastic bag. Tie open end.
  3. Let cure in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Before cooking, rinse chops under running water to remove excess salt.
Cooking
  1. Brown chops in lightly greased skillet.
  2. Add 60 mL (1/4 cup) of water.
  3. Cover tightly and simmer until done, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Servings: 1.8 - 2.7 kg (4-6lbs)
