Ingredients
1 lb carrots (sliced)
 
12 oz pineapple tidbits with syrup (can, undrained)
 
1/2 cup water
 
3/4 tsp Windsor® Nature's Seasons® Seasoning Blend
 
1 tbsp butter
 
1 tbsp flour
 
3-4 tbsp orange juice (or orange-flavoured liqueur)
 

 

Preparation
  1. In medium saucepan, combine carrots, pineapple, water, and Windsor® Nature’s Seasons® Seasoning Blend. Bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes or until carrots are tender.
  3. In small cup blend butter and flour to make a roux. Stir roux into carrots and pineapple.
  4. Cook and stir over high heat until sauce boils.
  5. Reduce heat. Stir in orange juice or orange-flavoured liqueur and simmer for 1 minute.

Makes about 750 mL (3 cups.)
